I made this blanket for Jenna and she had her baby boy on May 4th. Eric is a big time Hunter and he really like this blanket.
Size is 36 X 36 plus edging
Colors needed: RH Super saver Camouflage & Black
Size H Hook
Squares ( make 36)
with Camo ch 21.
Row 1: sc in 2ed ch from hook and in ea ch across. ch 1 turn (20 sc)
Row 2: sc in ea sc across, ch 1 turn (20 sc)
Row 3 --- 23: Repeat Row 2, Finish off.
square border: join Black in any corner, *3 sc in corner space. 20 sc evenly
spaced across to next corner*, Repeat from * three more times, sl st to first sc, Fasten off and weave in yarn.
With Black sew squares together alternating horizontally and vertically.
Sew on the wrong side though single loops, forming a ridge on the right side.
Afghan is 6 squares wide by 6 squares long.
On the right side with black yarn crochet 2 rounds of sc and 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st to first sc,
Fasten off, weave in yarn ends.
can add Fringe if you like.
